Telangana Weatherman has issued a warning for heavy rains in the state through his X account. A low-pressure system is expected to cause significant rainfall.
South and East Telangana could receive 150–200mm of rain on August 12–13. Hyderabad may experience light morning showers followed by moderate to heavy rain from evening to night.
On August 14–15, West and Central Telangana might also see 150–200mm of rain. Hyderabad is forecasted to have heavy to very heavy rainfall on August 14, with some areas receiving 70–120mm.
Residents should remain cautious. Travel and outdoor activities should be planned carefully.
