Telangana | Youth dies while attempting to stop the brawl, lives lost

Telangana | Khammam Rural: A young man lost his life after being trampled by two wild elephants while trying to scare them away. He was attacked and killed by the elephants with their tusks when he went in between them and the cattle. This tragic incident took place in Muthagudem village of Khammam district.

Ramakrishna (34), an electrician working in the rural mandal of Khammam district, was supporting his family. On Wednesday, while going to Khammam town for work, Ramakrishna returned to his village in Swagrama and stopped by near Muthagudem. Ramakrishna noticed two cows blocking the road and thought of scaring them away. He parked his bike on the side of the road and tried to shoo the cows away. However, one of the agitated cows attacked Ramakrishna with its tusks. With the force of the attack, Ramakrishna fell to the ground and suffered severe injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Local villagers who witnessed this incident informed Ramakrishna’s family members. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
