    Telangana’s Remarkable Agriculture Sector to be Highlighted at the Norman E Borlaug International Dialogue in the USA

    Hyderabad: Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has been invited to speak at the ‘2023 Norman E Borlaug International Dialogue’ in Des Moines, Iowa, USA. The event will take place from October 24 to 26 and will focus on Telangana’s success in the Agriculture sector.

    The dialogue will be attended by more than 1,200 in-person guests and thousands of virtual participants from around the world. The aim of the event is to discuss ways to improve the quality, quantity, and availability of food for everyone. Ambassador Terry E Branstad, President of the World Food Prize Foundation, personally invited Minister Rama Rao and expressed his appreciation for his perspective and voice.

    Minister Rama Rao expressed his happiness and saw this as an opportunity to showcase Telangana’s exceptional success in the Agriculture sector under the leadership of CM Sri KCR. State Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy has also been invited to speak at the event.

    The theme for the 2023 dialogue is “Harnessing Change,” which recognizes past achievements and calls for action inspired by Dr. Norman Borlaug’s legacy. The Borlaug Dialogue brings together individuals from over 65 countries to address global food security and nutrition issues. The event will feature discussions on transformative solutions for a sustainable and equitable food system.
