Hyderabad is set to become a leader in skill training and job opportunities for young people, according to Labour and Mines Minister Vivek Venkataswamy. Under the Telangana Overseas Manpower Scheme, 18 trained electricians have secured jobs in Germany. The Minister awarded them certificates on Wednesday.
These electricians completed six months of training with Indo Euro Synchronization (IES). After passing all exams, they are now ready to start their careers in Germany. The Telangana government aims to equip its youth with skills to work internationally.
Each selected electrician will earn a monthly salary of Rs 2.6 lakh. The Minister believes this will significantly boost their families’ financial situation. Plans are in place to expand Indo Euro Synchronization activities statewide, with special training camps in rural areas.
Dr. Bangaru Raju, CEO of Indo Euro Synchronization, attended the event alongside other dignitaries.
