Hyderabad: On September 14, Sunday, the 76th Youm-e-Rahmatul-lil-Alameen will take place at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally. This event, organized by Tameer-e-Millat, celebrates the birth of Prophet Mohammed. It aims to promote unity, love, and brotherhood among people of various backgrounds and beliefs.
Every year, respected religious scholars from across the nation gather to share the timeless message of peace and compassion that Prophet Mohammed offered the world centuries ago, explained Mohammed Ziauddin Nayyar, President of Tameer-e-Millat.
For many in the Muslim community, this program is eagerly anticipated. It stands as a symbol of hope in a world marked by division.
The event began 76 years ago, initiated by notable figures like Maulana Syed Khaleelullah Hussaini, Mazhar Quadri, Maulana Raheem Quraishi, and Maulana Suleman Sikandar. Their goal was to spread the teachings of the Prophet, fostering dignified coexistence among Muslims and other communities.
Prominent scholars and local ulema will address the audience, including Allama Mohammed Qamar Ahmad Ashrafi from Jamia Ashraf, Maulana Dr Sheikh Shah Mohammed Fazluddin Junedi from Dargah Sheikh Roza in Gulbarga, Maulana Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi of Jamia Nizamia, and Maulana Rizwan Pasha from The Quran Academy.
