Jagan Condemns Chandrababu Naidu’s Leadership, Urges Public Vigilance

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urges Andhra Pradesh citizens to evaluate the state's direction under Chandrababu Naidu's leadership.

The PCC leadership in Hyderabad is analyzing the results of the recent Lok Sabha polls, where the Congress party did not perform as well as expected. One of the main reasons for this could be the delay in selecting candidates for the elections. The party waited to announce candidates for 17 Lok Sabha constituencies, relying on poll surveys conducted by political strategists instead of their own ground reports.

Many of the candidates selected based on these surveys, especially defectors from other parties, did not perform well in the elections. Only one out of five such candidates won their seat. The delay in finalizing candidates and the lack of presence of national leaders during the campaign may have contributed to the party’s poor performance in the polls.

Kadiyam Kavya, the daughter of Kadiyam Srihari from Warangal, was the only Congress candidate who won in the Lok Sabha polls. Other prominent candidates like Ranjith Reddy, Danam Nagender, Neelam Madhu, and Patnam Sunitha Mahender Reddy lost to BJP candidates in their respective constituencies.

The BJP, on the other hand, announced its candidates early and campaigned with a large number of national leaders, which may have given them an edge over the Congress. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy put in maximum effort in campaigning for Congress candidates, holding multiple meetings and rallies in key constituencies. Despite this, the results were disappointing compared to the party’s performance in the previous Assembly polls.
