The Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (TG CPGET) 2025 were recently completed, marking a crucial step for students seeking admission into postgraduate and integrated programs at nine state universities. The results will be announced at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Osmania University organized these entrance exams through its Directorate of Admissions. They ran from August 4 to 11, using a Computer-Based Test format. Out of 62,806 registered candidates, 54,695 participated in exams covering 44 subjects, including 40 postgraduate and four integrated five-year programs. The subjects spanned faculties like Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, and Education.
The results will be unveiled at the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) by Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, TGCHE Chairman, and Prof. Kumar Molugaram, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. Vice-Chancellors from several universities, including Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana, and others, will attend. Important officials like Prof. E. Purushotham, Prof. S. K. Mahamood, and Prof. G. Naresh Reddy will also be present.
The TG CPGET is a centralized system for postgraduate admissions in Telangana, designed to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for students. With the 2025 exams now complete, focus shifts to counseling and seat allocation, set to start soon after the results are out.
