Hyderabad: Musharraf Faruqui, the Chairman & Managing Director of the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL), has set a goal for Assistant Engineers to eliminate complaints. He advised them to inspect their areas, including slums and colonies, thoroughly twice a week and maintain direct communication with consumers.
Faruqui held discussions with engineers from sections with higher complaint rates. He explored the reasons for these issues and instructed them to implement strategies to prevent future problems. He highlighted the importance of friendly interactions with consumers, encouraging a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel comfortable reporting issues at any time.
Faruqui also emphasized the need to replace dangerous overhead lines in narrow lanes and slums with air-bunched cables. He pointed out that the company has streamlined the process for getting administrative approvals for these installations.
