Suryapet: Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) Chairman, Patel Ramesh Reddy, visited Dasai Gudem village in Suryapet mandal on Friday. He was following the call of Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy to check on the implementation of the fine rice distribution scheme.
As part of the state government’s program to give fine rice to all white ration card holders, Ramesh Reddy had lunch with beneficiaries at the home of a local resident, Madar Hussain. The meal was cooked using the newly provided fine rice. During the visit, Ramesh Reddy said, “It is the Congress government that truly feeds the poor.”
He spoke with the family members to understand how the government’s welfare schemes were helping them and to see if they were happy with the support. He mentioned that thanks to the Congress government, every family with a white ration card is now enjoying a festive atmosphere.
A local resident named Saleema shared her thoughts, saying that earlier her family didn’t want the coarse rice they used to get. But now, the fine rice is very helpful for them. She also praised the state government’s free bus service and the subsidy for gas cylinders, thanking them for these useful benefits.
