    In a disturbing event, a cheetah was discovered dead under dubious circumstances in the Pedda Elkicharla forest area of Chaudhariguda Mandal, in the Shadnagar constituency.     Forest department personnel rushed to the scene on Saturday morning to conduct a postmortem examination on the cheetah carcass. The cause of the cheetah’s death is still being investigated, and details are expected to be released soon, according to forest department officials.

    According to residents, the Pedda Elkicherla Forest, which covers 654 acres, is home to a variety of exotic creatures. However, it was the shepherds who discovered the lifeless cheetah and immediately reported it to the hamlet. The forest department personnel are actively examining the incident and gathering critical information on the scene.

    Following the postmortem assessment, a detailed report will be sent to higher authorities for further investigation. Meanwhile, the killing of the cheetah has instilled anxiety among the residents of the forest’s surrounding communities, causing forest officials to call for specific measures to keep leopards out of settlements.
