The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR (also known as BRS chief), announced that his party will send vehicles to every village in Maharashtra to form farmers’ committees. He mentioned that Maharashtra has the highest number of farmers’ suicides in the country and questioned why there is a water shortage in the state despite having big rivers like Godavari and Krishna.
BRS is interested in expanding and fielding candidates in Maharashtra, as they have had groups of activists and leaders join their party over the past few months.
