The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain for the next three days in the Telugu states, especially in Andhra Pradesh.

On Friday, July 18, expect heavy rain in the districts of NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, and Nellore. Similar weather is forecasted for Saturday, July 19, in Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, and Nellore. Light showers might occur in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, YSR, Annamayya, Chittoor, and Tirupati.

By Sunday, July 20, thundershowers are predicted in Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu, Nellore, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, YSR, Annamayya, Chittoor, and Tirupati.

As of 7 pm on Thursday, rainfall was significant in several areas: Utukuru (NTR district) had 69.2 mm, Betapudi (Guntur district) saw 51.5 mm, Parchur (Bapatla district) recorded 50.25 mm, Chimalapadu (NTR district) had 44.7 mm, Konaseema city measured 43 mm, and Bodagunta (Krishna district) had 42.5 mm.

In Telangana, heavy rain with thunder and lightning is anticipated on Friday in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, and Nagarkurnool. The Meteorological Centre suggests moderate rain across all districts in Telangana today, with gusty winds reaching 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
