Hyderabad: A special three-day event called Rythu Mahotsavam (Farmer’s Festival) will be held in Nizamabad starting Monday. The event is being organized in partnership with the State Agriculture Department.
The festival will take place at the Giriraj Government Degree College grounds in Nizamabad. It will be officially opened by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao. He will be joined by Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, who is also the in-charge minister for Nizamabad district.
The aim of the festival is to celebrate farmers and showcase their products. Around 136 stalls will be set up, featuring various items from the agriculture industry and related sectors.
Throughout the three days, experts from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries departments will conduct workshops. These sessions will focus on modern and innovative farming methods. In addition, successful farmers and farmer producer organizations will share their experiences and knowledge with others attending the festival.
