A man killed his wife and son before taking his own life in Bandlaguda, Rajendranagar due to financial problems. The man, Anand, was involved in the dairy business and lived with his wife, Indira, and their son, Himanshu in an apartment. Anand and Indira got married in 2020, and it was the second marriage for both of them.
The couple started having issues when Anand developed a gambling addiction, leading to significant financial losses. He also drank alcohol regularly and would argue with his wife over small matters. Both families tried to counsel them, but on Monday, another fight broke out. Indira called her parents in Chevella, Vikarabad district, saying she wanted to end her life and her son’s due to the ongoing conflicts.
Anand ended up killing his wife and son before taking his own life by consuming poison. The Rajendranagar Inspector, B Nagendra Babu, said a case has been registered and an investigation is ongoing. The bodies were taken to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem examination.
