Today, on KTR’s birthday, more than 1,000 tech professionals will be giving blood donations.

Over 1,000 techies in Hyderabad will be donating blood to celebrate IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s 47th birthday. The event is organized by the Telangana Facilities Management Council (TFMC) at Divyashree NSL IT Park. TFMC president Satyanarayana Mathala and deputy CRO (IT) Srinivas Rao Thandra expect at least 1,000 techies out of the 10,000 employees working at the IT towers to participate in the blood donation camp. The camp will be held from 11 am to 5.30 pm and is part of an initiative called “Gift a Smile” in collaboration with the Red Cross. Five doctors and 40 nursing staff will be conducting the camp. According to Satyanarayana, donating blood is a precious gift that can save lives.
