TPCC delegation appeals to Governor for assistance to flood-stricken victims

A delegation from the TPCC, led by CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, met with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to discuss the floods and heavy rains in Hyderabad. The delegation also gave a representation to the Governor.

After the meeting, Vikramarka spoke to the media and informed them about the loss of life, crop damage, and property damage caused by the recent floods. He mentioned that they had requested the Governor to pressure the State government to provide compensation of Rs 50,000 per acre to farmers for their lost crops, Rs 5 lakh per fully damaged house, and Rs 1 lakh for partially damaged houses. Additionally, they asked for Rs 25 lakh ex-gratia compensation to be given to the families of flood victims.

In summary, the TPCC delegation met with the Governor to discuss the flood situation in Hyderabad and requested compensation for affected farmers, damaged houses, and families of those who lost their lives.
