TSRTC launched a new bus tracking app called ‘Gamyam’ to help passengers in Telangana and nearby states. The app provides information about the arrival and departure of buses at various stops. This will help passengers plan their travel and avoid waiting at bus stops or stations.
The app allows users to accurately estimate the time it will take for an RTC bus to reach their location. It currently covers 4,170 bus services, including airport services and metro express services. By October, all services will be integrated with the app. The app provides information about service availability, starting points, destinations, drivers, conductors, and bus routes.
There is also a special feature called ‘Flag a bus’ for women’s safety. From 7 pm to 6 am, women passengers can use this feature to signal the driver to stop the bus after dark. The app also has an SOS button linked to emergency services.
The app offers real-time tracking of Pushpak AC Airport buses and all Express and above special type bus services of TSRTC. It provides information about expected time of arrival at boarding stage and selected destination. It also tracks reservation buses based on the service number provided in the ticket and provides updated schedules and bus routes of TSRTC.
