    Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police have issued a traffic advisory for the closing ceremony of Swatantra Bharat Vajrotsavam (Diamond Jubilee celebrations of India Independence Day). The ceremony will be held at HICC Madhapur on Friday.

    To avoid inconvenience, offices located between Kavuri Hills to Kothaguda Junction and Hi-tech City MMTS station to IKEA Rotary are advised to stagger their work timings or work from home. This will help to minimize traffic congestion.

    Heavy traffic is expected at various junctions including Neeru’s Junction, Cyber towers Junction, Metal Charminar Junction, Google (CII) Junction, Kothaguda Junction Road, Khanamet Junction, HITEX/HICC/NAC Road, JNTU, Biodiversity Junction, Gachibowli Junction, Botanical Garden Junction, and Kondapur Junction. Commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

    Here are some alternate routes:

    – Traffic from Neeru’s towards Gachibowli Junction may take a diversion at COD (Ayyappa Society, Madhapur) towards Durgam Cheruvu – Inorbit – ITC Kohinoor- IKEA – Biodiversity – Gachibowli and vice versa. This will help avoid Cyber Towers Junction.

    – Miyapur, Kothaguda, and Hafeezpet areas towards Hitech City – Cyber Towers – Jubilee Hills may use Rolling Hills AIG Hospital – IKEA – Inorbit – Durgam Cheruvu road. This will help avoid Cyber Towers Junction.

    – Traffic from RC Puram, Chandanagar areas towards Madhapur, Gachibowli areas may use BHEL – Nallagandla – HCU – IT- Gachibowli Road. This will help avoid Alwyn – Kondapur Road.

    Furthermore, heavy vehicles are restricted at JNTU towards Cyber Towers, Miyapur towards Kothaguda, Kavuri Hills towards Kothaguda, Biodiversity towards Cyber Towers, and Narayanamma College towards Gachibowli.
