Hyderabad: Traffic Restrictions for Ganesh Immersion

The Hyderabad city police have placed traffic restrictions across the city due to the Ganesh immersion processions. These restrictions will be in effect from 8 AM on Tuesday until 8 AM on Wednesday.

To manage the traffic during the event, authorities have set up 67 diversion points. Police have stated that no vehicles will be allowed on the main route of the Shobha Yatra, which is the primary path for the immersion processions.

Public transport will also be affected. TSRTC buses operating on major routes will face diversions. Buses coming from Mehdipatnam will stop at Masab Tank, while buses from Kukatpally will halt at Khairatabad. Buses from Secunderabad will only go as far as Chilakalguda Cross. Vehicles traveling from Gaddiannaram and Chaderghat will be diverted at Dilsukhnagar, and those from Ibrahimpatnam will stop at IS Sadan.

Inter-city special buses will be allowed only up to Narayanguda and NTR Stadium. Buses traveling from Mehdipatnam towards Secunderabad will not be permitted to continue.

Once the immersion at NTR Marg and Necklace Road is complete, vehicles will be redirected through the Khairatabad flyover. After the immersion at Tank Bund, traffic will be diverted towards RTC Cross Roads.
