Asifabad: Tribal groups vowed to continue their protests until the government cancels GO 49, which concerns setting up a Tiger Zone. On Saturday, nine tribal organizations gathered at the Adivasi Bhavan in the district center. They discussed plans to stop the Tiger Zone’s creation.

They decided to hold meetings in every tribal village in the district on July 6 to discuss the negative impacts of the Tiger Zone. Additionally, they scheduled protests at forest range and tahsildar offices on July 14, with a district-wide strike across Adilabad planned for July 21.

A major protest will take place in front of the Komaram Bheem District Collectorate on July 28. Thudum Deb State President Vijay urged everyone to make these events successful.
