The Hyderabad City Police have given a traffic update for the Telangana Formation Day celebrations on Friday. The police expect more cars on the road, so they’ve made some changes to keep people moving. During the celebrations, there will be no traffic allowed between VV Statue, Necklace Rotary, NTR Marg, and Telugu Thalli Junction. Drivers from certain areas will be redirected to different roads. Some roads will be closed too. NTR Garden, NTR Ghat, Necklace Road, and Lumbini Park will be shut to observe the celebrations at the Secretariat.

Drivers coming from Punjagutta, Somajiguda, Ayodhya, and Ravindra Bharathi should expect temporary stops at different points. Motorists going towards Ravindra Bharathi/PCR Junction from BJR Statue/Nampalli side will also experience temporary delays at AR Petrol Pump. Traffic from Basheerbagh towards PCR will likewise be stopped temporarily. The police have suggested alternate routes for RTC buses traveling from Afzalgunj towards Secunderabad.
