Special arrangements have been made by RTC officials in Vijayawada’s Hayathnagar division for city dwellers returning to their hometowns for the Sankranti festival. These arrangements include running special buses to various districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, for both reserved and non-reserved passengers.

Six special camps have been set up at LB Nagar Chowrasta, supervised by Hayathnagar DVM Sucharita. Depot managers from Hayathnagar 1, 2, Midhani, Ibrahimpatnam, Maheswaram, and Bandlaguda depots will be present at the camps to help passengers reach their destinations.

Buses will be available from Hyderabad to destinations like Khammam, Bhadrachalam, Mathira, Kothagudem, Satthupalli, Nalgonda, and Miryalaguda. The camps have tents, chairs, drinking water, lights, and bio-toilets for the convenience of travelers. Officials will be available at the camp offices 24/7 to assist passengers.
