Tummala to assess crop damage from unseasonal rains today; Uttam and Ponguleti to join Bhoobharati seminar in Valigonda

Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao will hold a meeting today to review the effects of recent unseasonal rains in Telangana. The main goal of the meeting is to understand how much damage has been done to crops and to discuss possible support for affected farmers.

Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy will also be visiting the undivided Nalgonda district today. As part of their visit, they will attend a Bhoobharati awareness seminar in Valigonda. This seminar is meant to educate farmers about land management and how to keep their soil healthy.

Later in the day, the two ministers will also launch several development projects in Suryapet and Miryalaguda. These efforts highlight the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and supporting rural development in the region.
