Two men from Andhra Pradesh lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Adibatla during the early hours of Sunday morning. The victims, identified as K Bharat Kanth (31), an actor, and G Sai Trilok (31), both natives of Nellore, died on the spot after their speeding car rammed into a container lorry. The severity of the collision was such that the rear wheels of the container lorry were completely dislodged from the vehicle.
The accident occurred on the ORR stretch between Bongloor and Thukkuguda when the car approached exit number 12. According to initial reports, Bharat Kanth, who was behind the wheel, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the container lorry traveling ahead. The high-speed impact resulted in massive damage to both vehicles, leaving little chance of survival for the occupants of the car.
Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and began the process of recovering the bodies and clearing the accident site. The mangled remains of the car indicated the tremendous force of the collision. Emergency services worked to remove the wreckage and restore traffic flow on the busy highway, which is a crucial transportation corridor for the region.
The Outer Ring Road has witnessed several fatal accidents in recent months, raising concerns about road safety and speeding violations on the expressway.
