Hyderabad: People living in Balapur and nearby areas felt alarmed after hearing about two leopards spotted on the Research Centre Imarat (RCI) grounds in Hyderabad on Friday.
A video shared online shows the leopards walking in a quiet area, suggesting they might have ventured into a dense forest section.
Locals who saw the leopards informed the police and forest officials. Teams from the Forest Department and Balapur police have visited the site to investigate and are checking nearby surveillance camera footage. In response, the Defence Laboratories School Vignyanakancha has asked parents to closely watch their children and keep them from going outside alone until further notice.
