An RTC bus traveling from Chodavaram to Paderu had a serious accident on Sunday evening on Paderu Ghat Road in Alluri Seetharamaraju district. The driver lost control of the bus while trying to cross a tree branch at the Ghat Road viewpoint, causing the bus to fall into the valley. Sadly, two people died immediately in the accident.
According to the police, there were 45 people on the bus at the time of the accident. Ten people were seriously injured, while the remaining 18 sustained minor injuries. The injured individuals were taken to Paderu Government Hospital. Rescue operations are still in progress at the accident site.
