The Telangana High Court has stopped the unveiling of a statue of NTR in the form of Lord Krishna in Khammam, Telangana. This is because some people have filed a petition saying that putting the statue in the middle of Lakaram lake goes against the rules and Hindu beliefs. 14 petitions were filed about this issue and the High Court listened to them. The statue was supposed to be unveiled on May 28 for NTR’s birthday, but it has been stopped for now. The Telangana Minister from Khammam district, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, invited Jr. NTR to be the chief guest at the unveiling.
