Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced a crucial update for candidates. Before releasing new job notifications, candidates must update and validate their One Time Registration (OTR) details. This update is necessary due to recent changes in Scheduled Castes categorization and alterations in candidates’ educational qualifications.
The process started on January 19 and was initially set to close on February 9. However, the deadline has now been extended to February 25. The Commission has completed selections for previous recruitment notifications and is set to announce new ones soon.
Updating OTR data will help speed up recruitment processes, ensure quick result announcements, and enable timely appointment orders by preventing delays caused by incorrect data and incomplete documents.
There are approximately 31.56 lakh registered candidates in the OTR system. Future notifications, applications, and selections will be based on this updated data.
Candidates must verify personal, educational, and category information. They should also update qualifications and submit necessary certificates and a recent color passport-size photo. Updates can be made on the official website, https://www.tgpsc.gov.in. Not updating OTR data on time will disqualify candidates from upcoming job applications.

- Each candidate should have only one OTR.
- The OTR remains valid unless canceled by the Commission or the candidate.
- Candidates can update qualifications, address, EWS status, Non-Creamy Layer details, and contact information.
- Ensure accuracy in information and documents.
