    The upcoming TATA IPL 2023 matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal will have elaborate security arrangements in place. The Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan has announced that around 1,500 policemen from various wings of Telangana police will be deployed to ensure the safety and security of the event. Additionally, 340 surveillance cameras will be installed to monitor the stadium and anti-sabotage checks will be conducted continuously throughout the matches.

    To further enhance security measures, a Joint Command and Control Room I will be set up to monitor all CCTV footage and take immediate action in case of any incident. The police have also deployed She Teams to prevent stalking and harassment of women inside and outside the stadium during matches. Ambulances and fire tenders will be kept on standby at the stadium to address any emergency situations.

    Strategic locations in and around the stadium will be manned by armed policemen. Gates to the stadium will be opened three hours before day matches and at 4.30 pm for night matches. The police have also announced restrictions on certain items that will not be allowed inside the stadium during matches. These items include laptops, cameras, cigarettes, electronic items, matchbox/lighters, sharp metal/plastic objects, and binoculars.

    Overall, the security arrangements for the TATA IPL 2023 matches are comprehensive and aimed at ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
