US Citizens Uncovering Call Centre Deception

The Noida police have arrested 84 people, including 36 women, for cheating US citizens out of large sums of money. The accused were running a call centre where they pretended to be American government officials. They had a database of five lakh US citizens, which they used to target and deceive victims. The police conducted a raid at the call centre located in Sector 6, which had 150 desktops. The raid took place on Wednesday evening following information about illegal activities happening at the facility during nighttime.
