    A shooting occurred during an annual Memorial Day motorcycle rally in Red River, New Mexico. At least three people were killed and five others were injured. The shooting happened around 5 pm while 20,000 bikers were participating in the event. Red River Mayor Linda Calhoun confirmed the deaths and injuries and said that an unspecified number of suspects had been arrested. The incident was gang-related, but the mayor did not disclose which gangs were involved. The shooters have all been caught.

    The Taos News reported that law enforcement referred to the incident as a “rolling shootout” between the Banditos Motorcycle Club and another group. Witnesses described chaos breaking out as people ran and screamed that there was shooting. The mayor of Taos put a curfew in place between 10 pm and 4 am and banned the sale of alcohol. No law enforcement or first responders were injured, and no local people were hurt.
