Hyderabad: The Secunderabad–Nagpur Vande Bharat Express has added a new stop at Sirpur Kaghaznagar Railway Station. Godam Nagesh, a Member of Parliament from Adilabad, officially inaugurated this new stoppage during a ceremony at the station.

Several notable figures attended the event, including C. Anji Reddy, a Member of the Legislative Council, Dr. Palvai Harish Babu, a Member of the Legislative Assembly, along with senior railway officials like M. Gopal, the Additional Divisional Railway Manager of the Secunderabad Division, and A. Sridhar, the Chief Public Relations Officer of SCR.

Godam Nagesh shared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Vande Bharat Express on its original route last year. He expressed thanks to both the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for granting the stop at Sirpur Kaghaznagar, addressing a long-standing request from the local community. This train offers the quickest travel between Nagpur and Secunderabad, benefiting the region significantly.

The Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20101/20102) links Telangana and Maharashtra, passing through stations like Kazipet, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Balharshah, Sevagram, and Chandrapur. This new stop introduces the premium Vande Bharat service to Sirpur Kaghaznagar, enhancing travel comfort and convenience for passengers.
