Yadagirigutta is set to host a new Vedic school near the famous Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. Government Whip and Aleru MLA Beerla Illiaiah announced that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is spearheading this project to promote and preserve the Vedas, aiming to transform Yadadri into a hub for Vedic studies.
On Sunday, the site near Yadadri hill saw Bhoomi Pooja and foundation stone ceremonies for building a protective wall around the future Vedic school location.
Beerla Illiaiah highlighted that, with CM Revanth Reddy’s backing, the school will be constructed with a budget of Rs 46 crore. He noted the successful completion of the ceremonies and described them as spiritually significant, reflecting merit from good deeds. He emphasized CM Revanth Reddy’s dedication to both Yadadri’s growth and enhancing amenities for pilgrims.
During the Van Mahotsav program, saplings were planted at the Vedic school site.
The event was graced by EO Venkatrao, temple officials, priests, and local leaders.
