Former Chief Whip and BRS district president Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said on Friday that KCR is a brave leader who started the Telangana movement on his own and made it successful. Speaking at a press conference, he praised KCR as a visionary who travelled across Telangana for 14 years, strengthened the movement, and helped make the 60-year dream of a separate Telangana state come true. He added that no one else could match KCR’s leadership, as he united people with the slogan, “Telangana will come only if KCR lives.”
Vinay Bhaskar also said that KCR not only helped create Telangana but also made it one of the top states in the country. He announced that the 25th anniversary of the BRS party will be celebrated successfully on April 27 at Elkathurthy mandal headquarters in the Husnabad constituency. He thanked former MLA Vidudala Satish and the farmers who donated land for the event. He assured that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the event goes smoothly for all attendees.
Preparations for the celebration are already underway across the state. BRS Legislative Council Opposition leader S. Madhusudhana Chari said that the history of Telangana shows how hard BRS worked for its development. He criticized the Congress party for the sacrifices that had to be made during the movement. He explained that BRS’s 25-year journey can be divided into four stages: the period before the party was formed, the 14-year-long movement, 10 years of ruling the state, and the recent 15 months in Opposition. He also pointed out that Warangal and Karimnagar districts played a major role in the Telangana movement.
