State Planning Commission vice chairman B Vinod Kumar and MLA Voditala Satish Kumar visited the BSNL office at Mulkanur village in Karimnagar district. They expressed concern over the privatization and destruction of government properties by the BJP and Modi government.

During their visit, they inaugurated statues of leaders in Mulkanur village. They noticed the locked and useless BSNL office next to the public library and criticized the Central government for its actions.

Vinod Kumar highlighted that after Independence, the Union government established important public sector institutions such as telecommunication systems, banks, post offices, and railways. These institutions have been serving the people for the past 75 years. However, during the Golden Jubilee of 75 years of Independence, the Modi government is privatizing these institutions.

The BSNL tower in Mulakanoor village is a clear example of this privatization. The office and tower are covered in trees and have become useless. Vinod Kumar blamed the Modi government’s anti-people governance policies for this situation.

He further criticized the BJP government for favoring corporations like Adanis and Ambanis. Previously, telephone towers provided connections from house to house, benefiting the people. However, due to the decisions made by the Modi government, lakhs of towers and BSNL offices have become useless across the country.

Vinod Kumar also mentioned that institutions like BSNL, Air India, Railways, Bharat Petroleum, Shipping Corporation, Container Corporation, Ports, and National Highways are being sold. Those who question Modi’s actions are being threatened and attacked in the name of ED and Income Tax.
