Lions Clubs International, Dist 320A and Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana are presenting the Ratnadeep Grand Ganesha Awards, 2023 – Season 4. The event is powered by Hans India and Bizz Buzz, in association with Telangana Tourism and Hyderabad City Police. This initiative is organized by Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva.
The concept of the Grand Ganesha Awards is to showcase the blend of cultures and traditions in the fast-growing cosmopolitan city of Hyderabad, while also emphasizing sustainability. Gated communities, which are like mini townships, play a vital role in preserving the cultural heritage of the city and creating a sustainable future.
The Grand Ganesha Awards aim to recognize and reward gated communities that contribute to building this cultural legacy. A committee consisting of Lions Club members and jury members will visit these communities to understand their initiatives and concepts. They will then score each community accordingly. On the first day, 19th September, the committee members visited eight societies.
This event provides an opportunity for communities to showcase their efforts in preserving traditions and promoting sustainability. It is a celebration of Hyderabad’s rich cultural diversity and a step towards creating a better future for the city.
