Wanaparthy Encourages Youth to Strive for Excellence

District MLA Thudi Meghareddy and Collector Tejas Nandalal Pawar inaugurated a youth festival organized by the District Youth and Sports Department at the Polytechnic College in Wanaparthy. In his speech, the MLA encouraged the participants to strive for excellence, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda.

The event featured performances of folk dances and songs, as well as competitions in story writing, decoration, poster making, and photography. Around 200 young people enthusiastically participated in these activities. The winners of the competitions were honored, with the first prize winners earning the opportunity to participate in state-level youth festivals.

In a separate event, the Collector and MLA also inaugurated the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’ at the IDOC office. During this event, the MLA emphasized the hard work and kind-heartedness of disabled individuals. He assured that the government would address their pending issues and increase pensions for them.
