Renova Bannu Hospitals recently opened at Mulugu ‘X’ Road in Hanamkonda, offering advanced cancer treatments to the people of Warangal. The hospital is part of the Renova Group of Hospitals. Shri Nayini Rajender Reddy, the MLA of Warangal West Constituency, was the chief guest at the inauguration. Smt. Gundu Sudharani, Mayor of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, Shri E.V. Srinivas Rao, General Secretary of TPCC, and other notable figures attended the event.
Shri Rajender Reddy praised the new facility for providing top-notch cancer care to Warangal, the second-largest city in Telangana. He highlighted the hospital’s role in creating jobs for local youth and hoped it would lead in delivering quality medical services with compassion and ethical practice.
Mayor Sudharani encouraged the hospital to run free medical camps to educate people about breast cancer and offer better services to the underprivileged through Aarogyasri programs.
Sri Sridhar Peddireddy, Founder & CEO of Renova Group, stated that Renova Bannu Hospitals is the first full-service cancer hospital in the Warangal region. He explained that residents no longer need to travel to Hyderabad for quality cancer treatment, as world-class care is now available locally. The hospital boasts advanced technology like the Halcyon Image-Guided Radiation Machine and PET-CT scan. It offers comprehensive oncology services, including surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, alongside advanced laboratory and imaging departments.
Sri Peddireddy also announced future plans to expand Renova’s services to Delhi, Allahabad (Prayagraj), and Bhubaneswar, with further expansion across major Indian cities planned.
The event saw attendance from various medical professionals, including Dr. Aleti Ravinder Reddy, Chief Surgical Oncologist, and Dr. Vinodh Kumar Dussa, Senior Surgical Oncologist, among others. Several hospital officials and staff were also present.
