During the IPL 2023 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ekana Stadium, a fan managed to breach security and touch Virat Kohli’s feet. Kohli showed a kind gesture by hugging the person and asking them to leave the ground.
In the match, RCB won by 18 runs after LSG restricted them to 126 for nine. LSG struggled in their reply, being at 27 for four and eventually being all out for 108 in 19.5 overs. RCB’s Faf du Plessis scored 44 off 40 balls while Kohli made 31 off 30 deliveries. Naveen-ul-Haq was the most successful bowler for LSG, taking three wickets for 30 runs in four overs.
