Hyderabad: On International Labour Day, the Hyderabad Water Board was honored with the Best Management Award for its outstanding work culture and commitment to worker safety.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy presented the award to Ashok Reddy, the Managing Director of the Water Board, during a special event recognizing organizations that prioritize employee welfare.
Officials from the Water Board stated that they put worker safety at the top of their agenda. They follow strict safety protocols across all job sites to protect their staff.
To further promote workplace safety, the board holds annual Safety Week programs in each division. These events help raise awareness among employees about how to stay safe while on duty.
The award highlights the Water Board’s dedication not just to providing essential services, but also to creating a safe and supportive environment for its workers.
