Nalgonda: The Congress government in Telangana is focused on improving farmers’ lives, according to Nalgonda Town Congress President Gummula Mohan Reddy and former ZPTC Vanguri Lakshmaiah. On Monday, water was released from the SLBC canal into the D-37 sub-canal at Gundlapalli village in Nalgonda mandal.

The leaders noted that local farmers have started planting paddy. To support their irrigation needs, water has been directed into the D-37 canal.

They highlighted that the Congress government prioritizes agricultural growth and farmer support throughout the state.

The leaders also mentioned that, with help from Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the Nalgonda constituency is seeing progress in various areas.

Officials from the Irrigation Department, Agricultural Market Vice Chairman Julakanti Venkat Reddy, former Gundlapalli Sarpanch Panasa Shankar, Vajja Satyanarayana, Vaddala Janayya, and several Youth Congress leaders were present at the event.
