    Water Supply Disruption in Hyderabad on February 1

    Residents in several areas of Hyderabad will face a temporary disruption in water supply and low-pressure issues on February 1, between 10 am and 4 pm.

    The interruption is due to repair work being conducted on a 132 KV bulk load feeder PT at the Nasarlapalli substation. Officials from TG Transco will carry out these repairs, which will impact the water supply in areas served by reservoirs connected to Krishna Phase-1, 2, and 3.

    The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has announced that the repair work is necessary to address the issue, resulting in a six-hour disruption in water supply in the affected regions.

    The areas likely to experience partial water outages include Miralam, Kishan Bagh, Aljubail Colony, Shastripuram, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asman Garh, Yakutpura, Madannapet, Mahbub Mansion, Bhojagutta, Sheikhpet, Boggulkunta, Afzalgunj, Allabanda, Narayanguda, Adikmet, Shivam Road, and Chilkalguda.

    Residents in these areas are advised to plan accordingly and store sufficient water in advance to manage the temporary inconvenience.
