A storm hit Nalgonda town on Sunday evening, causing chaos. Strong winds and heavy rain knocked down trees, blocking roads in various areas. Two-wheelers parked outside houses were also blown over by the powerful winds. Some people were injured when roof sheets were blown away and landed on the roads.

In places like Shantinagar, Rahmatnagar, BTS, Gollaguda, Ramagiri, Bottuguda, Boyawada, RTC Colony, Panagal Flyover, Railway Station, and other areas, trees fell onto roads, disrupting traffic. Power supply was severely affected in many areas due to tree branches falling on power lines. Vendors faced losses as their food items, vegetables, and other goods were washed away by the winds.
