Weavers in Aiza town, located in Alampur Taluka of Jogulamba Gadwal district, showed their gratitude towards Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in a unique way. They performed a milk ablution for his portrait near the town’s new bus stand. This gesture was in appreciation of the Chief Minister’s efforts to support their community through the recently announced Telangana Chenetha Abhayahastam Scheme.

On January 10, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy issued guidelines for implementing this scheme. A government order (GO) was released, detailing three major components aimed at aiding weavers:
    1. Nethanna Podupu Thrift Fund
    2. Nethanna Bhadrata (Weavers’ Insurance)
    3. Nethanna Bharosa Scheme
