Nagarkurnool: A pregnant woman named Suvarna gave birth to a baby girl on an RTC bus while returning home from a hospital visit. Suvarna is from Ellur village in Kollapur mandal of Nagarkurnool district.

She had gone to the Nagarkurnool Government Hospital for a routine check-up, accompanied by an ASHA worker named Mallikanthamma. On their way back to Ellur, Suvarna started having strong labor pains near Adirala in Peddakothapally mandal.

Since there was no time to reach another hospital, Suvarna delivered the baby right on the bus. The bus driver, Gopal, and conductor, Rajkumar, stopped the vehicle and helped her during the delivery.
