    Chennur MLA Vamsi Krishna inaugurates Kyatanapalli railway overbridge

    Peddapalli: The Kyatanapalli railway flyover bridge was officially opened on Tuesday by Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna and Chennur MLA Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy.

    MP Vamsi Krishna said that the construction of the bridge was a major concern for the people when he visited the area during the election campaign. He shared that MLA Vivek had promised to complete the bridge within a year of winning the election, and now that promise has been fulfilled.

    He also mentioned that the Ajni passenger train, which had stopped running during the COVID-19 pandemic, has now resumed services. In addition, a request has been sent to the concerned minister to increase the Singareni pension scheme started by Venkataswamy by ten times. The MP promised to work on getting the pension increased soon.

    MLA Vivek Venkataswamy said he had initially aimed to open the bridge within three months of taking office, but delays in receiving payments for contractors and compensation for displaced residents caused a hold-up. However, he acted quickly to release the required funds and speed up the work.

    He added that special development funds will soon be used to improve roads, drainage systems, and drinking water facilities in the area. A new school, costing Rs 200 crore, will also be built in the constituency.

    The MLA further announced that loans of Rs 4 lakh will soon be given to unemployed youth through the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam program. He encouraged all eligible youth to make use of this opportunity.

    The inauguration event was attended by District Collector Kumar Deepak, Town President Palle Raju, TPCC General Secretary Raghunath Reddy, Official Spokesperson Srinivas, former Chairman Jangam Kala, Vice Chairman Sagar Reddy, and several local leaders including Gandla Sammayya, Abdul Aziz, Yakub Ali, Neelam Srinivas Goud, and former councilors.
