    Young women enthusiasts were awarded at the Hans Hyderabad Marathon organized by The Hans India. The runners from different age groups ran through Tank Bund, Cable bridge at Durgam Cheruvu, and ended at GMC Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli. Many young women won awards in the 5K run, 10K run, Half Marathon, and full marathon.

    Maheshwari, a third-year degree student, said she has participated in marathons before. She believes that participating in marathons not only improves physical and mental fitness but also motivates others in society. She appreciates The Hans India for organizing the marathon on World Suicide Prevention day, as it sends a message about the value of life.

    During her run, Maheshwari realized the importance of positive thinking and willpower. She believes that these qualities are essential for success.

    Samrin Shaikh from Khammam sprained her leg during the marathon but didn’t give up. Despite being nervous at the start due to the large crowd, mostly men, she motivated herself by reminding herself that women are equal to men in every field.

    L Nirmala, also a third-year degree student, finds joy and stress relief in marathon running. She has been participating in marathons since a young age and believes that it requires practice and passion. She recommends spending an hour running daily and doing a few exercises for good health.

    Even septuagenarians participated in the marathon. Dr. HymaMoorty, an elite participant, wanted to test her limits and enrolled herself in the marathon to challenge herself. Dr. Anjana Surath, another septuagenarian participant, was excited to join the run after hearing about it from Dr. HymaMoorty. They both practiced in KBR park to prepare themselves for the marathon.
