Water Released from Babli Project to Sriramsagar Project

In an important update, officials have released water from the Babli project in Maharashtra. This project is located upstream of the Sriramsagar Project, which is a key water source for northern Telangana districts.

Following the orders of the Supreme Court, a three-member committee supervised the release. The team included officials like CWC EE Venkateshwaralu, Nanded DE Prashanth, and Babli project assistant engineers Vinay, Ricky, and Sushanth. SRSP AE Ravi was also part of the team. They lifted the project gates and allowed water to flow into the downstream Godavari River.
