A 10-day handicrafts exhibition has started in Telangana. It is organized by the Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council under the Comprehensive Handicrafts Cluster Development Scheme. The event is supported by the Development of Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles.
Officials said that 50 artisans from different states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, West Bengal, and Jammu & Kashmir, are taking part in the exhibition.
Visitors can see and buy a variety of handmade products. These include Bobbin Lace from Station Ghanpur, Lac Bangles, Cheriyal Scroll Paintings, crocheted goods, and jute crafts. Other items on display are hand-printed textiles, incense sticks, applique work, terracotta, block printing, stone carvings, pottery, and Mithila paintings.
