11 projects get green signal from GHMC standing committee in Hyderabad

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) standing committee approved 11 development projects on Friday. The proposals included renaming LB Nagar Junction to Telangana Martyr Srikanta Chari Junction, building a flyover called Mall Maisamma Flyover, upgrading the drainage system in Gajularamaram village, and acquiring properties for road development plans.

The committee also approved the development of a 30-meter road width by acquiring 282 properties along TKR Kaman to Nagarjuna Sagar Road via ZP Road. They granted approval for a Call Centre managed by GHMC IT Section 040-2111 1111 in collaboration with GVK-EMRI Green Health and entered into MoUs with Aparna Construction and Estate Private Limited and DLF Foundation for construction and maintenance agreements.

The meeting was chaired by Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and attended by members of the Standing Committee, GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, Additional Commissioners Priyanka Ala, Vijayalakshmi, and Jayaraj Kennedy, ENC Zia Uddin, CCP Devender Reddy, CE Devanand, Chief Entomologist Dr Rambabu, and other corporators.
